So the game i want to talk about is League of legends. I first found League of Legends through a friend, and admittedly at first i was skeptical about the gameplay and Style. When igot my crazy expensive laptop for gaming, i was first connected to Starcraft 2 and wouldn't leave its side. This was indeed the main reason i got the laptop and I could not have been happier. I was asked again to try this game again from my friend and, since i had gotten a computer strong enough to play, I downloaded it. Oh, and by the way this game is completely free to play. Ever since I got this game, i tell you, i have not stopped playing League of Legends since Christmas.
I am writing this blog because everyone should play this game at one point or another. So the game consist of 5v5 or a 3v3, they are a long list of champions to pick from that all have a unique gameplay to each one. Each champion has 4 abilities, 3 normal abilities each going up to lvl 5 and one ultimate that goes to level 3. In the beginning of each game you start off as level one and go up to level 18 (which can get up to 25 minutes to get to, but we will talk later). There are certain champs that are also better at doing specific strategies in game like tanking, magic, DPs attack, support, and ect. The leveling system is not the only way to make you champion strong, there is also money you win for killing minions, getting assist, or killing enemy champions, which can be used to buy items each with a unique ability and improving stats. The battle grounds for the 5v5 consist of 3 lanes, top, bottom and the middle lane. the top and bottom lane tend to have 2v2 battles for the first 20 minutes of the game and the middle will be 1v1. Like mentioned before, there are minions who spawn in each lane that fight each other, that make the game more interesting and in the early game, is your most likely your way to gain lvls and money. There are also neutral monsters in the jungle, which is the space between lanes, that will give certain buffs to your characters for a short time, some even requiring your whole team to take down. Every champion is not available at first though. Every week there are 10 free champions that anyone can play during that week. There is a way to earn new champions though, every game that you play you recieve influence points that can be spent on champions that once payed for, can be played forever. This is a game that will be worth all your time and what i said here was just a piece of dust compared to what you can experience with this game.
